Barbara Olsen, a proud Boonthamurra woman, has dedicated her life to preserving cultural heritage, advocating for Country, and supporting her community’s aspirations. With extensive experience in native title, land management and cultural education, Barbara’s leadership reflects the deep connection between Indigenous knowledge and innovation.
Pearl Connelly, a proud Mitakoodi woman, is known for her work in revitalising traditional bush medicine and cultural practices. Her passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring young people has inspired many in her community and beyond.
Barbara and Pearl bring invaluable wisdom and lived experience to guide the NISTC in its mission to build a vibrant Indigenous-led entrepreneurial economy grounded in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander science and knowledge systems.
